Located just outside Roseville, OH, the Dozer family has been farming Valley View since 1863. Derek's great-grandfather grew watermelons on the farm's sandy soil, and his grandfather Rolland ran a milking operation and raised registered Berkshire hogs until the early 1960's. Derek's father George transitioned the farm over to beef cattle and continued to grow watermelons until he stepped away from farming in the early 2000's. Derek's son Mason lives on the farm and hopes to continue the farming tradition.
